Pickup and delivery in Lynchburg
Loading a motorcycle needs flat ground, and a lot of Lynchburg is anything but flat. Rivermont and Boonsboro have streets that climb steeply, so we choose a level spot close by before pickup day and you ride or roll the bike to it. Wyndhurst is newer and usually easier to reach. Addresses near US 29 and US 460 often have more room for a truck to stop.
Students should plan around move-in and move-out, when many bikes are moving at once. Book early and give us both your campus address and the home address. If the bike is going to or from Roanoke or Charlottesville, see our Roanoke and Charlottesville pages, our Lynchburg motorcycle shipping page, and our local motorcycle shipping service.
Why Lynchburg riders ship a bike
- College terms. Liberty University students and others ship a bike here for the year and home again when it ends.
- Mountain riding. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a short ride away, so visiting riders ship in and meet the bike here.
- Buying or selling out of state. The bike travels enclosed instead of being ridden across the country.
- Moving. Your bike moves on its own schedule while you handle the rest.

Lynchburg motorcycle shipping FAQs
I am a Liberty University student. When should I ship my bike for the fall term?
Book as soon as you know your dates, because move-in weeks are busy. Most bikes arrive within 10 to 15 business days of pickup.
My street in Rivermont is steep. Where will you load?
At a level spot close by, since the trailer needs flat ground. We choose it with you before pickup day.
Can you deliver near the Blue Ridge Parkway for a riding trip?
Yes. Give us the address where you will stay and make sure someone is there to receive the bike when it arrives.
Is Wyndhurst easier for pickup?
Usually. Its streets are newer and have more room, but we still confirm the exact spot with you ahead of time.
