Rally and event motorcycle shipping
Quick answer
Rally motorcycle shipping delivers your bike to events such as Daytona Bike Week, Biketoberfest, Sturgis, and Laconia, then brings it home. You fly in and ride the event instead of spending days on the highway. Rally weeks fill quickly, so book several weeks ahead.
Popular rallies we ship to
- Daytona Bike Week, Daytona Beach, Florida (March)
- Biketoberfest, Daytona Beach, Florida (October)
- Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Sturgis, South Dakota (August)
- Laconia Motorcycle Week, New Hampshire (June)
- Myrtle Beach and other regional bike weeks
How rally shipping works
- 1Book several weeks ahead and give us the exact delivery address: hotel, campground, or rental.
- 2Tell us the date you need the bike, not just the event start date.
- 3Name someone to receive the bike if you arrive after it does.
- 4Book the return trip at the same time and tell us where to pick up.
Getting the most out of rally week
The real benefit of shipping to a rally is arriving fresh. Riding from Virginia to Sturgis is well over 1,500 miles each way, and even Daytona is a long two-day ride. Shipping turns those travel days into riding days at the event itself.
Plan the delivery for a day or two before you need the bike, because traffic around rally towns builds quickly as opening day nears. Ride with what you need for the week in your luggage rather than on the bike, and book a return pickup for the morning after you finish so the trip home is handled before you leave town.
FAQ
Rally & event shipping: common questions
How far ahead should I book shipping to Sturgis or Daytona?
Several weeks ahead, and earlier if you can. Trucks heading to big rallies fill up, and dates close to opening day go first.
Can you deliver my bike to a hotel or campground?
Yes, if the truck can reach it safely. Check with the hotel or campground about truck access and someone to receive the bike.
Can you ship my bike home from the rally?
Yes. Book the return when you book the trip out, and give us the pickup address and the date you are ready.
What if my bike arrives before I do?
Name a person who can receive it, such as hotel staff, a friend, or a local shop. Their name and phone number go on the booking.
